2018-10-29 CVE-2018-0735 The OpenSSL ECDSA signature algorithm has been shown to be vulnerable to a timing side channel attack. An attacker could use variations in the signing algorithm to recover the private key. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.0j (Affected 1.1.0-1.1.0i). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1a (Affected 1.1.1). Ubuntu_linux, Debian_linux, Cloud_backup, Cn1610_firmware, Element_software, Oncommand_unified_manager, Santricity_smi\-S_provider, Smi\-S_provider, Snapdrive, Steelstore, Node\.js, Openssl, Api_gateway, Application_server, Enterprise_manager_base_platform, Enterprise_manager_ops_center, Mysql, Peoplesoft_enterprise_peopletools, Primavera_p6_enterprise_project_portfolio_management, Secure_global_desktop, Tuxedo, Vm_virtualbox 5.9
2017-11-13 CVE-2016-8610 A denial of service flaw was found in OpenSSL 0.9.8, 1.0.1, 1.0.2 through 1.0.2h, and 1.1.0 in the way the TLS/SSL protocol defined processing of ALERT packets during a connection handshake. A remote attacker could use this flaw to make a TLS/SSL server consume an excessive amount of CPU and fail to accept connections from other clients. Debian_linux, Clustered_data_ontap, Clustered_data_ontap_antivirus_connector, Cn1610_firmware, Data_ontap, Data_ontap_edge, E\-Series_santricity_os_controller, Host_agent, Oncommand_balance, Oncommand_unified_manager, Oncommand_workflow_automation, Ontap_select_deploy, Service_processor, Smi\-S_provider, Snapcenter_server, Snapdrive, Storagegrid, Storagegrid_webscale, Openssl, Enterprise_linux_desktop, Enterprise_linux_server, Enterprise_linux_server_aus, Enterprise_linux_server_eus, Enterprise_linux_server_tus, Enterprise_linux_workstation, Jboss_enterprise_application_platform 7.5
2017-05-04 CVE-2016-7055 There is a carry propagating bug in the Broadwell-specific Montgomery multiplication procedure in OpenSSL 1.0.2 and 1.1.0 before 1.1.0c that handles input lengths divisible by, but longer than 256 bits. Analysis suggests that attacks against RSA, DSA and DH private keys are impossible. This is because the subroutine in question is not used in operations with the private key itself and an input of the attacker's direct choice. Otherwise the bug can manifest itself as transient authentication... Openssl 5.9
2009-11-09 CVE-2009-3555 The TLS protocol, and the SSL protocol 3.0 and possibly earlier, as used in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0, mod_ssl in the Apache HTTP Server 2.2.14 and earlier, OpenSSL before 0.9.8l, GnuTLS 2.8.5 and earlier, Mozilla Network Security Services (NSS) 3.12.4 and earlier, multiple Cisco products, and other products, does not properly associate renegotiation handshakes with an existing connection, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to insert data into HTTPS sessions,... Http_server, Ubuntu_linux, Debian_linux, Fedora, Gnutls, Internet_information_server, Nss, Openssl N/A
2015-12-06 CVE-2015-3195 The ASN1_TFLG_COMBINE implementation in crypto/asn1/tasn_dec.c in OpenSSL before 0.9.8zh, 1.0.0 before 1.0.0t, 1.0.1 before 1.0.1q, and 1.0.2 before 1.0.2e mishandles errors caused by malformed X509_ATTRIBUTE data, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information from process memory by triggering a decoding failure in a PKCS#7 or CMS application. Mac_os_x, Ubuntu_linux, Debian_linux, Openssl, Api_gateway, Exalogic_infrastructure, Life_sciences_data_hub, Sun_ray_software, Transportation_management, Vm_virtualbox, Enterprise_linux_desktop, Enterprise_linux_server, Enterprise_linux_server_aus, Enterprise_linux_server_eus, Enterprise_linux_server_tus, Enterprise_linux_workstation 5.3
2015-12-06 CVE-2015-3196 ssl/s3_clnt.c in OpenSSL 1.0.0 before 1.0.0t, 1.0.1 before 1.0.1p, and 1.0.2 before 1.0.2d, when used for a multi-threaded client, writes the PSK identity hint to an incorrect data structure, which allows remote servers to cause a denial of service (race condition and double free) via a crafted ServerKeyExchange message. Ubuntu_linux, Debian_linux, Fedora, Icewall_sso, Icewall_sso_agent_option, Openssl, Vm_virtualbox, Enterprise_linux_desktop, Enterprise_linux_server, Enterprise_linux_server_aus, Enterprise_linux_server_eus, Enterprise_linux_server_tus, Enterprise_linux_workstation N/A
2018-10-30 CVE-2018-0734 The OpenSSL DSA signature algorithm has been shown to be vulnerable to a timing side channel attack. An attacker could use variations in the signing algorithm to recover the private key. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1a (Affected 1.1.1). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.0j (Affected 1.1.0-1.1.0i). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2q (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2p). 2019-03-06 CVE-2019-1543 ChaCha20-Poly1305 is an AEAD cipher, and requires a unique nonce input for every encryption operation. RFC 7539 specifies that the nonce value (IV) should be 96 bits (12 bytes). OpenSSL allows a variable nonce length and front pads the nonce with 0 bytes if it is less than 12 bytes. However it also incorrectly allows a nonce to be set of up to 16 bytes. In this case only the last 12 bytes are significant and any additional leading bytes are ignored. It is a requirement of using this cipher... Openssl 7.4
2018-06-12 CVE-2018-0732 During key agreement in a TLS handshake using a DH(E) based ciphersuite a malicious server can send a very large prime value to the client. This will cause the client to spend an unreasonably long period of time generating a key for this prime resulting in a hang until the client has finished. This could be exploited in a Denial Of Service attack. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.0i-dev (Affected 1.1.0-1.1.0h). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2p-dev (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2o). Ubuntu_linux, Debian_linux, Openssl 7.5
