2024-04-10 CVE-2021-47200 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/prime: Fix use after free in mmap with drm_gem_ttm_mmap drm_gem_ttm_mmap() drops a reference to the gem object on success. If the gem object's refcount == 1 on entry to drm_gem_prime_mmap(), that drop will free the gem object, and the subsequent drm_gem_object_get() will be a UAF. Fix by grabbing a reference before calling the mmap helper. This issue was forseen when the reference dropping was adding in commit... Linux_kernel 7.8
2024-04-17 CVE-2024-26840 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cachefiles: fix memory leak in cachefiles_add_cache() The following memory leak was reported after unbinding /dev/cachefiles: ================================================================== unreferenced object 0xffff9b674176e3c0 (size 192): comm "cachefilesd2", pid 680, jiffies 4294881224 hex dump (first 32 bytes): 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00... 2024-04-17 CVE-2024-26833 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix memory leak in dm_sw_fini() After destroying dmub_srv, the memory associated with it is not freed, causing a memory leak: unreferenced object 0xffff896302b45800 (size 1024): comm "(udev-worker)", pid 222, jiffies 4294894636 hex dump (first 32 bytes): 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................ ... 2024-04-17 CVE-2024-26860 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-integrity: fix a memory leak when rechecking the data Memory for the "checksums" pointer will leak if the data is rechecked after checksum failure (because the associated kfree won't happen due to 'goto skip_io'). Fix this by freeing the checksums memory before recheck, and just use the "checksum_onstack" memory for storing checksum during recheck. Linux_kernel 5.5
2024-04-17 CVE-2024-26865 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rds: tcp: Fix use-after-free of net in reqsk_timer_handler(). syzkaller reported a warning of netns tracker [0] followed by KASAN splat [1] and another ref tracker warning [1]. syzkaller could not find a repro, but in the log, the only suspicious sequence was as follows: 18:26:22 executing program 1: r0 = socket$inet6_mptcp(0xa, 0x1, 0x106) ... connect$inet6(r0, &(0x7f0000000080)={0xa, 0x4001, 0x0, @loopback},... 2024-04-17 CVE-2024-26888 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: msft: Fix memory leak Fix leaking buffer allocated to send MSFT_OP_LE_MONITOR_ADVERTISEMENT. Linux_kernel 5.5
2024-04-17 CVE-2024-26887 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btusb: Fix memory leak This checks if CONFIG_DEV_COREDUMP is enabled before attempting to clone the skb and also make sure btmtk_process_coredump frees the skb passed following the same logic. Linux_kernel 5.5
2024-04-28 CVE-2022-48642 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: fix percpu memory leak at nf_tables_addchain() It seems to me that percpu memory for chain stats started leaking since commit 3bc158f8d0330f0a ("netfilter: nf_tables: map basechain priority to hardware priority") when nft_chain_offload_priority() returned an error. Linux_kernel 5.5
2024-04-28 CVE-2022-48641 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ebtables: fix memory leak when blob is malformed The bug fix was incomplete, it "replaced" crash with a memory leak. The old code had an assignment to "ret" embedded into the conditional, restore this. Linux_kernel 5.5
2024-05-17 CVE-2023-52663 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SOF: amd: Fix memory leak in amd_sof_acp_probe() Driver uses kasprintf() to initialize fw_{code,data}_bin members of struct acp_dev_data, but kfree() is never called to deallocate the memory, which results in a memory leak. Fix the issue by switching to devm_kasprintf(). Additionally, ensure the allocation was successful by checking the pointer validity. Linux_kernel 5.5
